Design and display:
As mentioned above, this smartphone will have the most innovative design in its segment with the sliding camera technology. On the rear side it will feature a glass finish wth no physical fingerprint scanner as the sensor will be mounted under its 6.39" Full HD+ full view AMOLED panel. The resolution of the display will be 1080x2340 pixels with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 403 PPI pixel density. We rarely get a UD fingerprint scanner in this price range but Lenovo has done with another good thing which is the slider, which contain the front cameras. The display will be protected by Corning Gorilla glass 3.Performance:
With the Lenovo Z5 Pro we'll get to see the innovation with new processor. The 10 nm Snapdragon 710 will be provided with the Lenovo Z5 Pro. The latest 7 series mid range chip from Qualcomm to build the bridge between mid range and flagship SoCs. Also the only mid range processor to come with Adreno 6 series GPU, the Adreno 616 for high end graphics processing. The software is average as the smartphone will come with Android Oreo based ZUI 10.Cameras:
The cameras in the Lenovo Z5 Pro is going to be very impressive. Not because of the slider but also the Cabrera specs provided by Lenovo. The rear side will contain two Sony IMX 519 sensors with 16 and 24 megapixel count and f/1.8 aperture. In the slider it has dual 16+8 MP camera module with f/2.2 aperture. So keeping the slider aside, the quad camera module here is also the USP for Lenovo Z5 Pro.Image copied from mysmartprix.com |
Variants and pricing:
This smartphone's pricing is most attractive among all others as this the first slider phone in the mid range segment with full view display and no notch or bezels. It has two storage variants both with 6 GB ram, 64 GB and 128 GB. Both are order under 25k INR, if we convert the Chinese pricing. The 64 GB comes under 20,000/- and the 128 GB model is best 24,000/- INR.Battery and others:
The Z5 Pro has an average 3350 maH battery than can run for one full day with the AMOLED screen. It also has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB type c port with fast charging support and IR face unlock in the manual slider.Overall this smartphone will be a complete package in the 20k segment with all the features and specs included. Where other brands are struggling to give any one of them, be it the AMOLED screen, UD fingerprint scanner of the type fast charging support, this has all those features that we don't find in any other smartphones altogether. But Lenovo need to bring this type of devices in the Indian market as the market here is in definite need of this kind of smartphones.
